  • Details:  This is such an adorable tin box!  Featuring a pink and white background with charming Victorian images of dancing ladies and gentlemen. Originally sold with Barton's Filled Fruits, it now serves as a fun collector's piece, a unique storage box, and a playful addition to any room or to store your treasures in style. A collectible decorative tin, ideal for tin collectors and advertising promotional products. This tin is empty.  There are condition issues, please see below.
  • Material:  Metal / Tin
  • Dimensions:  5.25 inches Tall, 3.5 x 3.5 inches Square
  • Condition:  Vintage - Used. Fair Vintage Condition considering its age.  The top rim is misshaped, there are dents so very hard to open.  Lots of scratches, scuffs and some paint loss.   There is some aluminum oxide on the inside.  We have seen some for sale in much worse condition, we feel all this is acceptable due to age/use/wear. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns. Please remember these are VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.

Barton's Bonbonniere, better known as Barton's Candy, was founded in 1938 New York, by Stephen Klein and his five brothers, Viennese immigrants who's family had been candy makers.  Barton's Bonbonniere was in business for approximately 26 years, the Klein family sold the business sometime after the 1960's.  Stephen Klein died December 18, 1978, at Beth Israel Hospital, he was 71 years old.  The company ceased operations in 1994 when it was purchased by Loft, Inc, which closed the remaining stores.
